The Alcove

Overlooking the hills of Barton Creek, The Alcove finds its character in the landscape that surrounds it. Canyon rock sits just beyond the windows, bringing natural texture into view and giving the home a distinctly sheltered feel. Inside, sunlit rooms, warm wood tones, and soft neutrals create a welcoming contrast to the rugged terrain, with a sense of ease that carries throughout the home.

The kitchen pairs richly grained cabinetry with white countertops, textured tile, and glass pendant lighting. Open shelving and brass fixtures add warmth, while pale wood floors connect the kitchen with an inviting sitting area framed by views of the trees. In the bedroom, a wide window frames the exposed canyon rock, making the surrounding landscape a defining feature of the space. Wood cabinetry, open shelving, and tiled walls carry the same warm material palette into the bathroom, creating continuity throughout the home.
